Louisiana Skydive FAQ's

What should I wear for my Louisiana Skydive adventure?
You should wear comfortable, seasonal clothing. Avoid high platform shoes, hiking boots, and open-toe shoes such as sandals. Tennis shoes are the best shoes for your skydiving experience!

What is tandem skydive?
A Tandem Skydiveis the jump most people make for their first skydive. It takes minimal instruction and allows you to make your initial skydive in the Louisiana with an instructor harnessed to you.

What is Accelerated Freefall (AFF)?
AFF is a skydive training program that prepares you to become a certified skydiver in Louisiana. You control your skydive under the supervision of expert instructors. The freefall during your skydive will last approximately 60 seconds.

What does freefall feel like?
Because you are falling on a cushion of air, freefall is a buoyant feeling similar to floating on water - only much more thrilling!

Is the landing hard?
Our ram air canopies allow you to make feather-soft landings. Our canopies fly at approximately 20 mph and are incredibly fun to fly across the skies in Louisiana!
